  6. Great Pumpkin Feud Carving

    Do your part to help Canton beat Stoughton in The Great Pumpkin Feud! Carve a Jack-o-lantern at the library, and we'll bring it to the challenge on Saturday. Register in advance to reserve a pumpkin provided by the library, or bring your own!

    The official count and viewing will take place at 92 Pleasant Street in Canton, from 5:30-7:30 on Saturday, October 28.

  7. An Afternoon with Henry David Thoreau

    The Canton Public Library will celebrate the Henry David Thoreau Bicentennial with a special event. Participants can “meet” Henry David Thoreau. Historian Richard Smith, who’s realistically performed as Thoreau for nearly 20 years, will read an essay and host a lively discussion, taking questions from the audience about Thoreau. This program is free and open to the public.
