The Canton Public Library and the American Red Cross will host a Blood Drive in the Library’s Community Room on Tuesday, June 12, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Need something to do while waiting to give blood? Come in the Library before your appointment, browse our amazing collection, grab an interesting title and check it out!
YOUR SINGLE DONATION CAN SAVE UP TO 3 LIVES
Your blood will be separated into its components—red blood cells, platelets and plasma—and be sent to area hospitals to help patients with different needs. Blood is needed for traumas, heart surgeries, joint replacements, premature babies, leukemia, other cancer patients and much more.
For an appointment call 1-800 RED CROSS, (733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code CantonLibrary
