April Vacation activity with Historic New England

Wednesday, April 18, 2018

Historic New England is excited to present our educational and fun spring break program at the Canton Public Library Best suited for ages five to twelve, this program helps students discover history through fun, games, and crafts. The journal of Colonel Samuel Pierce, who lived at Historic New England’s Pierce House in Dorchester, provides a window into the Revolutionary War era as we explore the topic of Patriots Day. Children dress up in colonial-era clothing, examine reproduction artifacts, make tin lanterns, write with quill pens, and create paper tricorn hats to wear. Free and open to the public. Registration required. Space is limited. Please sign up at the Junior Room Desk
