COVID-19 Response

Dear Library Patrons,

The Canton Public Library is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and is in close communication with state and local town officials. The safety of our patrons, staff, and volunteers is our top priority.

We have made the difficult decision to close the library effective immediately and until further notice. We are doing this as a proactive effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19 for the health and well-being of our community. We will continue to assess the situation as it evolves.

Our digital collection of e-books and audio books and films are always available through Hoopla, Libby, and Kanopy. We have increased the amount of checkouts available on these platforms so you can borrow more than usual. Please check here for more information about library resources you can use from home.

Lastly, please note we will waive all late fees on overdue materials and encourage you to keep your library books at home with you. Due dates for all books have been extended through the end of May.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this situation and keep an eye on our website and Facebook for the most up to date information.
